I want to redo some guitar parts and add/change a few things, but on the topic of the last track I posted a few days ago, this was recorded drums first with a metronome, where I tried not to get stuck in the time signature and added bass second.

Now thats how to fly man.....deadly.  I shall listen to this over and over.....damn fine, right up my alley, exactly what I aspire to achieve.  I love the drumming.  I am going to download and play along on my Roland E-drums for practice.  Deadly, deadly track Scorpios man.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed..

Bluesberry, with roland e-drums, they are cool with your signature layout I see you are using a br-1200 and micro br, do you ever use any computer or mac based software? I borrowed an e-drumset a while back and hooked it up via midi to a pc with some software like sonar and reason and wow, lot's of possibilities there. If you use quantize or just midi editing, you can also easily fix anything that is off time or whatever you wish to add or take away.... control synth sounds, loops etc... I would love to have an e-drum set again.

Fantastic seventies prog rock feel on this and great songwriting, Scorpios!

Fine job on drums, too!

Scorpios... had to comment again... I'm lovin that loose snare sound you have goin on. Not sure if this was intentional, but it really does work well with this track. Actually gives the track some serious ambiance. Your really impressing the heck out of me with your drumming skills. Your pulling off fills that I couldn't begin to attempt and I've been playin off and on for over 35 years now. Thanks for posting.

There's a killer riff you do a couple of times - I last heard it at 1:45  - that just knocks me out. Ooh, and I like the tempo change at about 3:00. Nice lead/rhythm mix. This reminds me of something Zappa would have opened a show with, as the houselights came up. heavy, heavy stuff.
