Oh yes, Sandy. The original is far too chirpy and upbeat. This is what life is really like... gritty, surreal, filthy and f*cked-up, lol. Sounds like you're channeling the Velvet Underground here. It has menace, darkness and scuzz. In short, I love it. And I would have liked more. That psychedelic noodling at the end was excellent. This is a great cover!
