Still suffering from work frenzy so please accept my apologies for being only an occaisional visitor to the site.  I don't get home too often and have absolutely no chance to do anything while I'm at work.

But anyway - here's a new Falsies song.  I started this one off some time ago and it was the first song of my middle eastern phase.  To be absolutely honest - I came up with the chord sequence for the section that became the synth and guitar solos first, and was so inspired by it that I wrote the backing for the rest of the song around it.  If I say so myself, I think that the Moog style solo is one of my better ones.  I did the drums this time using the sequencer in my Motif XS7 and had the idea for the title.  Mark Drozdz provided the guitars and of course Nick (Nightcaller) wrote the lyrics, sang them and debuts on his newly fretless bass guitar.  (I'll let him tell you about the fretless).

Anyway, have a listen and feel free to be as critical as you like.

Progtastic is the word, cool work all round, the moog and guitar solos are different class and the Nightcaller tops it off with an excellent vox, great work all round loved it!!

That's a very dynamic and powerful sound - great bass balls, guitar, and synth bits, and a driving vocal. And of course, the production is stellar!

I love how the big, dramatic opening gives way to that squelchy bass groove. There's so much good stuff going on in this. The little nods to exotic, arabic-sounding scales are perfectly balanced to give an eastern flavour without overdoing it. And man... those proggy keyboard and guitar solos are out of this world. This is a serious bit of songwriting and recording. So talented and polished. And Nick really knows how to put tension and drama into a vocal.

Yet another fabulous offering from the False Prophets altough there is nothing false about this. This is the real deal..............Willie

Wow, this is really good. The production is brilliant, it sounds superlative through my monitors, that opening is fantastic and I love the proggy feel here. Great playing as always, the Arabian stuff is waaay cool and there are so many different elements to enjoy it keeps you really hooked and drags you deeper and deeper.

Awesome stuff guys, very professional and hugely enjoyable.

Cheers,

Nigel
