so many people here have said i sound like peter gabriel so i thought its time to prove them wrong, i got my hands on a backing track of solsbury hill. spot the difference, i see a very wide gap.


oh. for tim(lespauletc) i have a couple of crowded house backing tracks are you up for the stork taste test.

You are a fine singer.  This is excellent.  Not exactly Peter Gabriel, but sublime.  Your version is so, so good.  It really does sound like Peter Gabriel to my ears.  Sweet.  Your singing is very clear and strong.  You have nailed it in my humble opinion.

This is absolutely perfect Jim. Even though your vocals are bang-on Pater Gabriel, there's a lot more to it than that. Absolutely love it. And you passed my girlfriend test too- so it must be good!!!  :)
