It's disappointing to know that people just assume web storage is free for everyone.

I won't speak for the people who fund songcrafters, but I've invested $1500 out of pocket for my very similar site which should last until 2015, providing that I don't get bombarded with people's backlog of music.

I don't know about any of you, but I've never been hit up for a dime to help fund this site. Actually I do know that nobody has ever been asked to pay, I just thought I'd point it out.

As a non-paying member on a site which costs to operate, I don't feel a friendly PM regarding protocol is unwarranted.
