Recording V2 without V1 playback?

Hi there

I have read through quit alot of this forum and still can't find the answer to my question. I'm still new to this Micro Br thing, and at this stage Im getting very frustrated! So please help!

I have recorded some music to T1V1 and everytime I try to record something to V2, my first song keeps playing in the background. I understand that I have to turn the volume down when recording to different Tracks, but how do I record to T1V2 without T1V1 playing back?

I am not quite sure what you are doing, because what you are describing should not be possible. Maybe when you recorded on T1V1 you recorded in stereo and at the same time recorded T2V1 and that is what you are hearing,   where you using the line in?

I also thought that it was impossible! Someone actually asked on this forum if you could do this!
Anyway, last night I created some new songs and it didn't happen again on these songs. So  to be honset, I deleted the song that gave me so much trouble and started all over.
Don't know what I did, but if it happens again I will make sure that I dont record in stereo.
