Hey Cuth. The Arthur Lee gig was one of the best ive been to and ive seen some great bands over the years. I remember sitting in the hall in Newcastle and as the opening bars of Alone Again or the shivvers just went down my back...... i was in heaven man.

Its funny you should mention the uncluttered mix Greeny. I had noticed that having all those extra tracks on the 600 was leading me to possibly over egg the old songs a bit. So i decided to keep this simple for a change. Mind you i am partial to a bit of over egging :-)
Thanks oldy i listened to one of Thareks songs recently and it had just a lovely english folky feel to the vocals so i wanted to keep my vox true to my region as it were....

Lovely song, and effective instrumentation - those tele noodlings worked out really well. I'm the same - give me some tracks to use and I'll use them, probably all of them. But occasionally, less is just the ticket, it's knowing when to stop, excellent judgement here ...

Guitars are sounding great. Love the wide mix & production. Gorgeous FX on the electric. Compliments the acoustic to perfection. Those harmonics are inspired, just at the right place at the right time. This is an awesome recording.
