Hello all!

Here's our newest recording. Geoff wrote the music and sung the vocals. I have written the Finnish lyrics long time ago and I tried describe/translate them in English. Geoff edited them a bit, so here's the result - It is a poem on G's music.

The Red Moon
The Red Moon drifts a face to the ground,
Trying to catch the wind with the dawn.
Inside the dark temple, a beam of light highlights the majestic altar,
The flowing water is lifted by the light,
And makes a bridge to delight the spirits,
to walk into the cold dark night.
The red moon gives way and uncovers a dark fraction,
"Are the shores empty or occupied"
Am I imagining all the sounds or just music,
Trees are flowing, making shadows on the wall,
The moon has built a scenery with its cold light,
It says to me
"Tell the story, Tell them the scenery, say what is happening"
The darkness carries the sky and all the planets,
Not even the clouds are helping,
The moon shines through the cracks,
The Red Moon, the Red Moon, The Red Moon.

This one has definitely got the spook to it... 

Whispered vox add to the menacing tone, and those are some fine sounding strings and percussion additions. Subtle atonality is well-used here - well done, Geoff & Kari!

Now this is something very unique and special, wonderful creativity and vision in the music here Kari, what an ambience you have produced, it really is inspired stuff.

Geoff's wispered vocals are haunting and menacing, and seem to fit the mood of the music perfectly.

Very different, and very very good!

Thank you for all the comments on the latest music from Kari and myself. His words really inspired the music from my first reading of them.
I would also like to add (and apologise) for my lack of commenting lately. When we moved into temporary accommodation in December we had no main telphone line so I have had to use a dongle (usb link) for my internet connection. This does have a limited useage so I have had to priortise my use of this to my Internet business.
We will shortly be moving back to the Uk so then I will have the landline and a permanent connection to Songcrafters. I am still suffering from withdrawal symptoms, so look forward to listening to you all again shortly.

Wow! So much atmosphere and ambience crammed into one place. This is a really adventurous piece of music, and it all works beautifully. Superb stuff.
