Just for fun this one  . The original is recorded by Espen Lind, a Norwegian songwriter, producer and singer. His commercial breakthrough came in 1997 with the single "When Susannah Cries" which was a hit in several European countries. This one came in 2008.

I heard it on the radio on the way to work the other day and thought this must fit the Localfest! A simple arrangement with only bass drum, tuba, ukulele and vocal  . I bought me an ukulele on Saturday... not very easy to get it right, especially the tuning (which is very prominent at the last bar)!

Not very satisfied with first mix so I've added another version. But I'm still scared of High notes...

I love it! Ukulele always makes music fun, and the tuba sounds great with it.

Well, this brought a smile to my face..really cool song and what a performance!!

That Uke sounded pretty good considering you have only just brought it, and loving that Tuba.

I think we have a songcrafter first here ... Can't remember any other using a tuba before.

And this is just fabulous. The ukulele sounds great, and don't worry, nobody will ever get a ukulele sound completely in tune The vocals are fab too, that's some scary high notes to hit there and you did great.

And that tuba gave it the little extra for me!

My falsetto doesn't work any more, so the highest notes were painful to sing and to be honest a bit painful to listen too also
