Nice song once again Les, the bass gives it a real bounce along quality. Some cool little touches on the guitar and the vocal is excellent, especially the harmonies in the chorus. Nice little nod to Hendrix to end the song with the Star Spangled Banner.

Another slice of Les loveliness! I was just a bit too young to be there in person but I saw it all happening on TV. Great song, love the arrangement and different feel here - brought "Feel like I'm fixin to die" to my mind. Great fun in the same way as that song (well, perhaps "fun" is the wrong word to use but you know what I mean), and really well put together.

Cheers,

I wasn't actually 'there', being born in '67. But I really enjoyed this big, bouncy, country-tinged number. Tight playing, immaculate production, and I loved those Crosby Stills and Nash harmonies. The song was over too quickly, but that's a nice nod to Jimi at the end. This is a great piece of work!
