Boss BA-CS10 Stereo Microphone

Hi folks, quick question. Is it worth getting the above, will it improve vocal takes/ accoustic guitar/piano etc and for live performance , say of the band?
           I find the on board a little sensitive but this one is in stereo and may be a better option, so I can get further away from the mic. Cheers.

Many here uses the cheaper Sony stereo mic ... I have a cheap Yoga stereo mic I've used on some recordings here with OK results.

 Hi Geir. I have ordered a sony one from Hong Kong........ £3.20 including postage!!!!!!!!!

exactly !!! I think you'll find it ok. And remember you can turn the sensitivity down to -12dB on the internal mic and -15 dB on the external if you struggle with clipping on your recordings. (press (INPUT) - arrow back to "Sns: ____" and use +/- to set the correct level.)
