(I think I've said this before but: There's always a coutry-fest out there ... somewhere in time and space.)

I heard this on the Norwegian "Grammy" (Spelemannsprisen) tonight and felt an urge to do my version of it.

This has everything, but the kitchen sink and an electric guitar in it  : ;D ......

acustic guitar, bass, harmonica, selfmade woodblock, rhythm egg, djembe and of course : a cowbell    8)

Nice one, Geir - love all the little extra touches you added!

This is one of those songs that got way too much radio play back when it first came out - but I think your version has better legs.  :)

I f*cking love it, Geir. This is actually better than the original! The melody may be the same, but your vocal makes it much more emotional and convincing that Kenny. The music is looser and more subtle too. Perfect.

wow, great job.  That should be on the radio, very good quality.

Back for another listen. That 'homemade', organic rhythm really works beautifully. This is a stunner.

Promise me you'll sing it live oneday? ...when I'm around to hear it!
