The performance is great, Ron. I can't wait to hear the whole thing.

However, I have a suggestion for improving the recording quality. When mastering or bouncing, be sure to set the Master Level properly according to the L/R meters in the display. The levels in your recording are much too low. I downloaded it and loaded it into Audacity. Here's what your song looks like:

And here's what it would look like with properly set levels:

The Master Level is your recording level. If it's too high, your recording will be distorted. If it's too low, your recording will have low volume as yours does. The Boss manuals don't do a good job of explaining the importance of setting the Master Level when mastering or bouncing. I think many users just set it for a comfortable listening level, not realising the effect it has on recording quality. That's fine in Normal record mode because you're not recording the output of the BR's mixer section. So you can use the Master Level as a sort of headphone level and it will have no effect on your recording. But in mastering mode and bounce mode, you're actually recording the stereo output of the mixer section. Since the Master Level controls the output level of the mixer section, it is effectively your recording level control.

I hope that helps, and I look forward to hearing the finished song.

Very good cover...If I didn't know it, I'd think this is the orig

Oh jeez... this is one of my all-time favourite songs, and I like to play it myself. But NOWHERE near as good as this! You've absolutely caught the JT vocal perfectly, and your guitar work (as I already know!) is stunning. Can you do the rest soon?! And up the volume a little. It's so beautiful... !
