Well, what a learning curve  

I haven't played bass in years... but knocked my neighbours door and borrowed his smooth Ibanez 5 string. I think I got it slightly wrong... its too "fat" for my liking.

Oh yeah, I love it! I assume you are playing the guitar, too? Excellent first recording on your new 800. I like how the bass sounds, but nothing you couldn't tighten with some tweaking.

Yeah - me on my guitar too. Its a pity you cant record raw and add the patches to the guitars after the recording. That'd be handy!

Great stuff Johnny.  Thats a beautiful guitar sound, fantastic playing.  I found it hard to find a bass line for this, I ended up just mainly plunking root notes for my version.  Seeing as this is your first song you have posted, your first collaboration, all I can say is fantastic job.  You will be one to look out for, I am so glad you found your way to our little site.  We like to have fun with music on here.  Deadly good additions to Jim's fantastic song Johnny.  Sounds bloody good to me for such a steep learning curve that you have had (we have all been there, it gets easier with each one).

Oh, I'm sure that can be done with an effect added during a bounce, or with the automation effects on the Sonar software - I can guarantee you Geir has that all figured out by now! He'll tell you how to do it.
