This one was written in an unusual way.  Usually I will take time figuring out the chord structure and arrangement of a song, writing it measure by measure.  In this case, I just hit record and improvised a piano part without any planning.  I wrote some lyrics for it the next day and then added the vocal part.

Clark, yes, I love it.  I love the spontanaety here.  Your method for writing this is my favorite way to write songs, I do it like this once in a while.  This is unbelievable strong.  Beautiful.  Its like an old classic Elton John from the early 70's, and I mean that as a big compliment.
