"Nightingale Song" (Toad the Wet Sprocket cover)

This one is an unusual cover for me, as I handed over the lead vocal work to my friend Meghan - my only cover featuring someone else on lead vocals.  I did all the music and backing vox.

Meghan recorded the vocal part on her iPhone (!!!) and sent me the track, and I cleaned it up and mixed it in.  You would never know Meghan phoned it in.

I don't know the original, but I like it this straight away! It is a pity I don't get phonecalls like that!!!

There should be some sort of "I don't know the original, but..." button for my covers.    Yeah, I pick ones that have not been done to death for the most part.

Glad I came across this. I am actually familiar with this song and I have to say that you did a frickin a awesome job with it. I can't believe the vox were recorded on an iPhone! That either shows off your ability to clean up a track, or the IPhone itself!
