Thanks so much for the listen,  I didn't say I forgot where the inspiration came from.  
The thought was inspired by in 1987 when my wife was in her sister's wedding.  I became melancholy because she had to spend the day with another man (an usher who was a friend of the groom) and not me.
That hurt like a bitch!  This is actually a song I wish didn't have to exist.  I'd rather not have the song than have to live with the memories of that terrible day, or at least I wish the song would've been inspired by a more pleasant event.......for me anyway!

The back story actually doesn't comprise the entire lyric. but it's what got the ball rolling.  There are other little "situations" in those lines too.  BTW-I'm pretty proud of how the acoustic version sounds too, but it's just too LOFI for me to take it seriously,
