La Manzania V2

This is a remake of an old song, inspired by one of the on-board loops in my "new" DR880 drum machine.
I usually use an acoustic but the Strat added an upbeat feel and crispiness I liked.
The horn is the GR 20 synth of course, that helped create a bit of the Mexican flavor I thought.
I get to playing this one about this time of year, looking at the rain and snow and remembering the sun and sand.
Yes the Vox needs work and I will remix, but I have run out of time.  Off to Maui Tuesday.
This time next week I should be burned to a crisp, bobbing on a surfboard somewhere off Kihei.

I enjoyed this Glenn, it's got a great feel and should get you in the holiday mood! Makes me want to be somewhere sunny.

I thought the mix sounded good, I particularly liked the guitar sounds and mixing. nothing bad jumped out abbout the vox and the harmonies are great. But if you feel you can improve it, I'll be interested to see what you come up with.

This is great!  I close my eyes and instinctively reach for my drink.  

I love the horn touch.  Lately I have been wanting brass sounds... may look into the G20 as it's likely more apartment-friendly.
