New user to mocro BR, and not great at reading manuals...

I have a question about the Reverb effect, basically I cant seem to switch it off, or indeed make any changes to it.

After starting a new song I:

Select input screen take Rv down to 0
Press effects twice change type to room
                           Time to 0.1
                            tone to 0db
                            level to 0

back at the main screen i select a track and all the reverb's are down at zero, But I still get major reverb when I play and record the guitar.  what am I doing wrong

Hello there and welcome to the forum!

That is happening because the guitar effects themselves have a DLY parameter.

Press EFFECT, then EDT, then right cursor (>), then DLY, then using + or - turn off.

Many Thanks, thats the delay off, I was assuming it was reverb, shows you what I know.... :'(

Nice clean guitar sound now,

very impressed with the BR, although still got a lot to learn...obviuosly.

Thanks again for your help

Cheers

No problem! You would be impressed with the amount of people that confuse the meanings of delay, reverb and echo.  :D

This was a major hassle for me too.

Why is the default to have such a huge delay setting (500ms) on every guitar FX setting?  This seems crazy.  Is that really the default for all the effects or did something get changed on my unit?
