i got this (i have edited it a bit) message from alfredo
QuoteHave a nice Sunday, James!

I'm uploading a new tune by Roberto and me. Please see if it will suggest something...

Roberto called it "A New Time"...and it has to do with the common theme of his most recent compositions, the "rebirth". I think you may have a more clear imagine looking at the video he prepared for this tune:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g3medzniU7o

the point of view of someone looking back from a train, but at a certain point the point of view looks forward to new horizons of sea and sun...
immediately on hearing it i thought about people whose lives revolve around the past and others whose lives revolve around the future anyway before i waffle on anymore i just got round to it this evening here is the result. alfredo roberto thanks for letting me have a go. spero che godiate di che cosa ho fatto

When you look back
On what has passed
Do you think
That you've learned anything
Do you make
The same
Mistakes
Or do you learn from them

Do you look
Far ahead
To the days
Still to come
Do you think
Your dreams
Will ever
Be realised
Do you think
Your dreams
Will ever
Be realised

Do you ever just
Stop!
And take a look
Around you
At what you have
At where you are
Just breathe
In the air
Just
Live for the day
Live for the day

When you look back
On what has passed
Do you think
That you've learned anything
Do you make
The same
Mistakes
Or do you learn from them

Do you look
Far ahead
To the days
Still to come
Do you think
Your dreams
Will ever
Be realised

Live for the day
Just take some time out
Tomorrow is just another day
And yesterday
Has gone
Forever

hmmmm different. not modern but something about this reminds me of what's to come.
Why don't we do it on the road?

Wow, loving this. Great use of the K Pro Alfredo, love what you do at about 3:15, a K Pro freak out! You got a great jazzy style here with some really modern twists, suits the theme of the song very well. Jim, I love the words on this, they are really good and really build on the idea that Roberto had. Superb collab guys.

Mr2Kewl ought to hear this, he would love it!

Cheers,

Nigel
