at almost 8 minutes the only thing fleeting about this song is the title.

I started it thinking I might get bored (after your 8 minute warning), I even turned up the volume on my guitar to noodle along if necessary... but my hands quickly fell still and I just listened... I didn't even feel the need to check the time left... my wife came to try and ask me a question, I signalled to her she'd have to wait...

I can't say "I love it" - I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to it again, but I'm really glad I've heard it, it said something to me, I don't know what. I suspect I could've said that about something of yours before, because I now have the feeling of "what else has he got, where is it?" (But I've since discovered the missus's query was "time to go out now"!!)

I'm intrigued, it's totally out of usual my comfort zones, but I liked the experience... I think it might even have some effect on what I listen to (or even create myself) in the future... thanks for posting it :)

I just kicked back, closed my eyes, and let this wash over me. Reminded me of theme music from a sci-fi film, the "space" portion of a Grateful Dead concert, and a chamber orchestra. My mind was expanded listening to this.

Fleetingly lovely - agree with Neil, there's a kind of new Age ambience about this. How did you do it? Sounds mainly electronic. I enjoyed it a lot, great mood music and great open feel to it.

Cheers,

I just clicked play and let myself drift off. There's some damn clever stuff going on in this. It comes from a world a million miles away to the one I'm sitting in right now. Lovely stuff.

Don't tell me you fired mrkewl trio!

This is not exactly my cup of tea, but it is a good listen anyway!

well, this pads may sound new age, but the music is not. There is too much tension going on, and rythmical stress. Interesting listen. I'll hear it again.

I was thinking that when I saw Nigel's "new age" reference, but I don't know enough about new age music to actually go out on a limb and say so... but seeing as you have :D

I'm glad I'm not alone in how this piece affected me - it's certainly stuck in my mind. I haven't had the chance to go and listen to anymore yet though.
