Damn dude i like this song...The guitars don`t seem crappy. I just can`t hear them in the mix. As for the vox. Too bad you didn`t sing this. The singer is good but i know how good your pipes are SE. :)

Got a lot of the same influences as me, so I really enjoyed this. I recorded a load of stuff in a bunch of cheap studios in the 70s and 80s so I don't think this sounds too bad compared to some of my stuff! Great to hear what you sounded like when you were younger. It's a great song as well.

Cheers,

Nigel

This is super cool!  I like the way it's mixed. The bass really drives it...sex pistols/wire is what I hear. Thanks for sharing this gem.

In the upper echelons
where the wise men are said to play
they dont see social rejects or urban decay

30 years ahead of its time

John, come on man, bung up the rest of the originals i gave ye

time rolls on it never stops
just like the ticking on that damn clock
the hands on the clockface
they never seem to stop

Tom (Bass player - driving bass!! - if only i knew what a major run was back in 1978 eh? - it sounds like a big elastic band to me now)

Peavey T40 bass (too heavy in weight).

the highlight was we played the Burns' Howff wi a 100 watt PA

heres one - re record it all on that wee toy a yours. i'm up 4 it - but please dont put the one up wi the casio!!!!!!!
