Here is me and my father doing the old classic Hendrix tune "Red House". Recorded live through a PA system with me singing and playing guitar and Madrab on bass. Then I recorded some drums over the original recording, and it turned out really well. At least that's my opinion, anyway.

Note on recording: This was done as much live as you can do on two people. Guitar and bass went through the mixer together with the voice. This was recorded with the microbr and we mixed it in mono. Then Mattias added drums afterward.

We did two takes, this is the first. I just played bass, mixed and grew with pride.

Very well done guys.....feel proud of this, bloody fantastic. So you are playing the drums, not a drum machine, what kind of drums, Electric ones? or acoustic.  Great feeling in the vocals man, fantastic guitar playing. And such nice tight feel here.  This is class man.

Mattias has a set of really simply electric drums. The sound is not that good and I guess they are nothing like real ones, but it's all that can fit his room. I tried to be as steady as possible on bass when we first did guitar, voice and bass in one take, but I could never do it static enough that you could add a machine. We turned the bass up and then he played drums to that. Very fast recording, I was minding the dinner in between rigging.

And as the ever proud father I must add once more. He started playing guitar about one and a half year ago, he got his own 10 month ago. 13 years old.

Really great Hendrix feel. Nice bends, tone and vibrato on the notes, and a passionate vocal. Top job, fellas!

I think the drums sound really good.  What exactly are they, I am very curious.

I though your bass playing was excelent madrab, really nice walking bass that anchored the whole thing and kept it moving along.  It sounded like John McVie back in the original Fleetwood Mac on bass.

I really enjoyed listening to this guys.

Thank you for all great comments. Bluesberry, you were wondering about the drum set. It is a Big Beat Kick It, which was the best set in its price range (about 350€).

This is buttery smooth. I really dig it. If I said great vocal I'd have to say great bass, gutiar and drums too. It was a nice listening experience.

I just recorded and uploaded a video for the song on YouTube! As I wrote in the description of the video, the video is just a showcase of my room, with the gear used.
