A thing of beauty Tharek. The sound of your guitar itself is so moving. Add your exceptional vocal and this truely is a song that will stand the test of time.

Bluesberry

You are developing a real strong unique style Tharek.  I really enjoy this song.  I hear a little violin or cello there in the background.  Maybe a tambourine.  You know me, I like to add stuff to everything.  I can literally hear a tambourine every once in a while, must be my imagination.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Very moving and stark.  The vocal timing matches the guitar playing perfectly.  Was this done "live" as you often do, or multitracked?  It sounds like there was very little "processing", added reverb, etc, (so called "dry recording"), which I respect, and adds very much to the naked, honest sound of this.

Thanks Guys!

The More I Listen to this, the less I like the Recording...

I will do it again at some point...

There was a sock over the mic (MBR) which gave it the the muffled vocal... (I was worried about clipping but did anyway... Sods' law..)

Then I took  the High end out to try and calm the clips but it still comes through i think...

Was a quick song that needed to come out...

Sorry about the Tech flaws...

Glad you liked it!  and thanks for seeing passed tech..!

Peace

T

Quote from: Tony W on January 26, 2011, 09:54:12 PMThis is a really sad song. I can definitely feel this one. I get the impression that started playing a little mood guitar, and the lyrics came from within and had to be performed. It's definitely raw and emotional T.

I agree with T,........  T. :)
This one has a real organic quality to it.
Like you let your fingers go and stepped out of the way and the lyrics just flowed in perfectly.

Sweet picking patterns.
