Saw Ween last night...quite the spectacle. I've never seen a trainwreck quite like that in person. Not their usual 3 hour party with multiple encores. The band left the stage after about 2 hours in disgust and poor Gene, tripping out on something, played four of his saddest songs at snail's pace on his own with some of the most erratic electric guitar playing I have witnessed on stage. There was no encore. I still love them but Gener was not looking good...forgetting lyrics, cues, constantly trying to tune his guitar and singing like gollum on hellium out of key on most songs. Deaner was noticable pissed off. Deffinitely one to remember. I hope he can get his shit together and get healthy. I hope they have a kick ass show in Seattle tonight.

I finished this one an hour before l arrived at the show. For Aaron and Mickey.

Sandy.

not familiar with the song but makes me want to delve further into ween's back catalogue, loving the trippy vocal effect you use and the spacy lead is magic. braw tell yer maw.

I don't know Ween's stuff at all, but I thoroughly enjoyed your cover, Sandy. And Gene Ween's behavior at that concert made it into Wikipedia (check his page).

Checked out the original song on youtube, too - I think I want to sample the 'Chocolate and Cheese' album!

sorry to hear this news... might be a good time for a little hiatus... hopefully Gener gets it back together before they come back this way.

Love the song, though gritter.
Okay to cover.
