alfredo sent me this earlier this evening. i will let him fill you in as to who did what musically. i just rapped over the top. i had to shrink to 128kbps to fit

words all stream of thought and open to interpretation i havent a clue what they are about

it's funny when you think about it
just stop
and take a long hard look
and see it for what it is
do you know what it is
neither do i
but it still brings a smile to my face
simple things for simple minds
i laugh cause i don't understand
i laugh cause that is all that i can do

so let's pretend for just a bit
let's see what happens
let's see where we can go
you're only limited by your own imagination
so open your eyes and your ears to the world
experience the highs and lows
i'll catch you if you fall
and throw you back up
into the air into the clouds
let's have an out of body experience

let's hunt the dream
let's hunt the dream

i've cracked the code
i'm not supposed to
or maybe i'm just imagining it
i've crossed the line
on the horizon
i'm stepping over to the other side
i once was blind
but now i see
a ball of confusion
staring back at me
but it still brings a smile to my face
simple things for simple minds

let's hunt the dream
let's hunt the dream

it's funny when you think about it
just stop
and take a long hard look
and see it for what it is
do you know what it is
neither do i

Great music and production as per usual Alfredo.

Interesting rap ORH. You got quite an active mind going on there man.
Thanks for posting the lyrics - I enjoyed reading along with the tune.

Good work boys.
It ain't pretty being easy.

Man, oh man - this is so cool! Funky and trippy. So much to love - the casual-yet-thought provoking vocal delivery, the soulful music ... and then the out-there instrumental breaks at about 3 minutes in. A groovy listen.

James, I was absolutely sure you could do great things with this tune, and...I have to admit that you went over my expectations!  :D

Another good thing is that this time I don't find anything to remix...it's perfect this way!  ;)

And thanks for the lyrics...

About the final oboe and trumpet solos...it's me on the YouRockGuitar, driving a couple of patches of my Roland SonicCell. The music, as usual, is by Roberto Maffione.

Thanks everybody!

Loving this, as usual a wonderful laid back groovewith a very polished arrangement. Jim's smooth vocal treatment works so well here. Another excellent one guys.

Excellent! I've just got mine set up right and it is wonderful as a Midi controller. Sounds great here.

Cheers,

Nigel

What a tremendous track! Gorgeous music and performance all round.
I enjoyed being able to read the lyric along with the music. Stream-of-consciousness at its finest.

Honour the earth. Without it, we'd be nowhere.

Life is too important to take seriously.

Nothing much I can add to what has been said already. I'm rapidly becoming an Alfredo fan his touch on production is sublime and Jim perfect vocals yet again...........Willie

This has a very cool vibe. Vox work so well. laid back yet very danceable...Sting circa Blue Turtles meets Stevie Wonder circa Fulfillingness' First Finale.
