Tharek sent me this beautiful music 5 days ago and gave it to me as a 45 minutes challenge ::) ..... some loooooooooooooooong 45 minutes later I got it recorded .....

there was more to the challenge ..... a title : "Thoughtless" and a description " .... how a thoughtless set of actions can really hurt someone..."

I think this is the hardest challenge I've got so far (even tougher than Saijinns Abandon challenge)

Hope I didn't screw it up !!

A simple mind
not evil or unkind
had lost it's sight
of anything but it's spot in the night

the words should have been unsaid
what they did can't be undone

a frame of mind
hanging on but still blind
connection is lost
with the compass inside

a foolish act
to late to retract
the wound is made
the words fail to repair

all the words that should have been unsaid
their impact fail to fade

a gentle mind
slipped and commited a crime
going blind
by unforgiveness over time
a gentle mind
fades in the dark

the words shouldn't been said
what they did can't be undone

a gentle mind
not evil or unkind
but it's lost it's sight
it's going blind
a gentle mind
slipped and commited a crime
a gentle mind
fades in the dark

the words can't be unsaid
what they did can't be undone

a gentle mind
still will try
a gentle mind

Totally amazing , Bravo , Bravo , Bravo
IMO , probably the best song I have heard on this forum , I don't think I heard a better guitar recording on songcrafters , in the quality of the writing , the playing and the recording ,and there have been some bloody good ones , topped off by the the most heartfelt vox and lyric I've heard
I'm absolutely gobsmacked to think this was a 45 min challenge , listening to this could either make you give up music or just try harder to attain a higher standard for oneself

Nice sound gentlemen. great vox and usual professionalism in all
the music u do solo or as a team.sort of a folky sound . reminds
me a bit of the simon and garfunkel style. either way this deserves
a bump. best regards NEIL

Geir, terrific lyrics. I think everyone's guilty of this at one time or another, no matter how good our intentions may be. Easily done and difficult to repair.
Really enjoyed it , beautiful singing complements the guitar.

Tharek, I could listen to you play that acoustic for days, you have a way with your playing that is really beautiful. I hope you are well on your way to getting that Seagull soon!

This song makes me so glad that I have recording gear again so I can start collabbing with the great talent on this site ...
Beautiful! Sounds like you two are performing side by side, playing off each other. Tender vocal, crisp and almost bell-like guitar. This is a total winner.

This kind of sparse arrangement is what I've been leaning toward lately in my listening, and this is just fantastic.

Lovely playing and an emotional vocal delivery.
