A little sad, but beautiful and very original.  Excellent work by all including the BR 800.....Lectric

WOW WOW WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is just utterly stunning !! A beautiful melody and an absolutely perfect performance !!
Already on my 4th 5th listen of MANY !!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is a keeper !! This is one of those reasons I just don't feel the need to listen to the radio that much anymore !

Listening to the bass I was first thinking "I would have used some alternate noted .. or played on 1 instead of 1 and 3" but after the 3rd listen I realised I was wrong. The bass gives the song an underlying "pace" that really works well.

Looking forward to hear more from the three of you! And you're getting your own sound engineer too !! Lucky bastards ;D

oh .... and those leftovers of the flu just give it an extra edge :)

A fantastic song Robert !!

Oh well ........

j.g.

This a great song.
So glad you are going to do more of your own, rather than covers.
All your songs whether they are covers are not, are always top quality, but you have an individual voice and a songwriting skill which I really look forward to hearing.
Keep the self penned songs coming, as I sit here eagerly awaiting the next of your little gems.

I can only agree with all the superlatives and praise above. This is absolutely phenomenal, Rob. Your talent as a songwriter really shines bright on this one. Personally, I think the real magic here is in your vocal - an incredible and moving performance. Simply stunning.

A great recording of a great song, the guitars and bass sound so good, but there,s only one standout, the vox are just so good, this is what a singer sounds like, just excellent music!!

What a voice - even after the flu, you sing like an angel. The music works with your voice like a precision watch, and the production sounds sterling.

Great song, Rob & friends!

I had a couple of great old folk songs in my playlist and did not notice your song does not belong to that list when it was playing. Which means: It sounds absolutely professional to my ears. And I love it! One of the best songs I've listened to here, definitely. And what a great voice! Wasn't it you who said somebody once thought you cannot sing? What a deaf idiot that must have been!

Thanks for posting this pearl!
