Heres another little melody I tossed together after getting my new G-Major effects processor. Warning it's kinda low end heavy.

I know most members on the board are not as Metal orientated as I am, but please feel free to add anything you want, Lyrics, solos, bass, whatever.

Oh ya and let me know what you think too please :)

I'm not a metal fan. That said it's just a matter of style.

What I do hear though is a great musician and a great technical guitarist. Fantastic playing. I wish I had your skill.
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

This is tight as a nut. Great tones and skills. It's not what I do myself, but I can definitely appreciate the ability. Very cool.

awesome! just my sorta thing. i am a bit of a metal head myself. this is kinda like earlyish metallica, before they started to suck ( just my opinion ). you gonna put some singing to it or anything else???

i am working on a metally number myself. a bit more emo than this. not toooooo emo though. not like... errr... my chemical romance, or any of that stuff. i will get it posted soon, n you can check it out.

keep churning out those punishing riffs!

I agree, it is reminiscent of Metallica before they started sucking. The way you used delay on that one riff made me grin from ear to ear - totally kicks ass. Makes it just that much darker...   8)

Ya James Hetfield is the reason i really got into guitar, I guess it shows. I am not really a vocalist, although I have been known to shout out a few songs when our vocalist couldn't make the jam schedule from time to time back in the day.

 Thanks for the positive feedback.

I actually haven't played much with the MBR in a while as I've been trying to perfect my rack setup/sound and done a few jams with a new drummer I met.

I just bought an Digitech HM2 Harmony Man, and I'm loving it. Lets me do all the harmonies with intelligent pitch shifting live (being the only guitarist) and it sounds great too, although nothing can ever replace the "real" sound of 2 seperate guitars.

For all my tones, I am using my ESP LTD M1000 guitar with dual EMG 81's, into the HM2 Harmony Man with ADA MP-2 preamp through the dist send/return of the HM2, then stereo out from the HM2 into my TC Electronics G-Major then stereo out into the MBR, Live I go out to 2x Marshall JMP Mk2 100watt master lead heads each running single 4x12 marshall 1960 cabs.

I'm gonna be buying the Behringer FCB1010 midi foot controller to replace my old ART X-12 in which the optional expression pedal quit working on me so I'll be able to finally get using some Wah and Tremolo, etc going too... in addition to chaining my old boss drum machine to queue program changes for me on the fly while playing a backing beat with bass.. haha man MIDI is so cool.

Heres a pic of my rack if anyone is interested, the bottem mount is a monster power Pro 2500 power conditioner which provides clean regulated power to my rig and helps keep the line noise/interference to a minimum.

Keep on rocking in the free world :)
