last nights version was a bit all over the place, https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=9940.0 the demon drink can be blamed, anyway i just stuck to the merlot tonight. and decided i would try and do a more fitting version of one of my favourite st thomas songs. this time i did the drums first, tho i still had some timing issues, im much happier with this version, i hope you like it and i hope i have improved on my previous drunken effort.

Oh yes. You nailed it alright!
This sounds SO good
SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET !!!!! (someone had to say that!!)
Oh yeah this is all good !!
I like this new version, don't get me wrong, but for me the first version is head and shoulders a better listen. I love that little reedy synth over to the right and the whistles and the swooshy pre-echos on the vocal. And the drum treatment on the first is way more sympathetic to the feel of the song. If I hadn't heard the first version, I would love this one; I just love the first version more...
very full soundscape here Jim. Love the vocals. I like the pre-echos as well. Nice touch.
This is wonderful. I have to say I like it a little better than the other, a little tighter, but still has a nice flow. Also I did not know the st. thomas original so thanks for posting his video.
Lovely dreamy backing and an excellent vox. I like the structure the way you have arranged it.
Very well done, James. The grape serves you well.

Saint Thomas lives on in our hearts...all of us little stunted people who look up to the moon at night and wonder. You nailed this one Jim, very nice version of a fantastic song. I feel the tears listening to this...damn demon drink eh.
WOW Jim this is magical....
LOve it.

wOw WoW this is pro sounding!!! so much feeling and vibe! your voice and that Juno is producing magic !! Love it !!
This one is a little more polished...makes me think of Gabriel does St. Thomas. Its damn tender stuff. Tears at my heart a little.
