on saturday night alfredo sent me this wonderful version, i knew it well but every time i hit record i would fluff the line lay lady lay, was a real tongue twister for me deeper vox was done first after about 12 takes backing higher vox was done in 1 take. wavs of vox then sent to alfredo for final mix.
thanks alfredo this was a lot of fun and has made me appreciate mr zimmerman a lot more i love the lyrics to this one.

I downloaded this when it was posted. Even though its a cover and a great one at that, this is the best vox from you IMO Jim and best collab from the two of you. The music is so perfect Alfredo.

A great, great quality job on this old favorite. Love the organ and slide guitar especially. Well, the guitars sound great too. :D And the drums... Hey, no percussion! :o (Heck, doesn't need it!)
