Help!!!
I need your Advice!!!
I want a new guitar....
Not just any Guitar...
It is one the likes of which I cannot find anywhere!!!!!
This is my Spec wish list:
Classical Style Neck (I Love the space)
Steel Strings
Cutaway
Electro-acoustic
This is all.....
Here is my current Guitar...

It is great, but I need some high end to my sound live for strummy stuff... Nylon gets drowned out real easy....
If it were me with those specs I would look no further than Godin guitars, multiac series. I don't know how easy they are to come by in easy London, but I love Godin guitars, I own a Godin, xtSA, and I own 2 Seagull acoustics (made by the same company), and they are fantastic guitars. The mulitac has classical style neck, nylon or steel string, cutaway, slim body (like an electric-very comfortable to play), electo-acoustic. Beautiful made guitar. I want one just thinking about them here as I type. You can even get Synth access to play a GR-20 or other guitar synth, guitar plus strings anyone... Thats my suggestion Tharek. I am sure there will be other great suggestions, Godin is mine.

In the same line of thought as Dave.
Check out Seagull, they are beautiful, have wide necks , made of quality,...

In the same line of thought as Ken... :D I have one of these Segull guitars, and it is everything you described in your specs, lovely, lovely guitar, with a wide neck...http://seagullguitars.com/productartistpeppinocw.htm (http://seagullguitars.com/productartistpeppinocw.htm) Artist 'Peppino' Cutaway
Funny thing Tharek, I have a gas attack on the complete opposite of what you're looking for. I tried a Morgan classical guitar with a neck that felt just like a western neck !!!
I've gotta start saving now !!!!

The review!!!
QuoteThe Peppino D'Agostino Signature CW acoustic guitar was designed to meet the exacting standards of this fingerstyle virtuoso.
Artist Series craftsmanship is exemplified in every detail of the instrument. A solid spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides deliver exceptional tonal clarity, projection, and warmth.
Peppino D'Agostino is known for his beautiful, understated melodies, as well as the explosive rhythms that he drums, taps and beats out of his guitar. Add to that a repertoire that requires a different tuning on almost every song and you have a man that demands a lot from his guitar. His signature model is such an instrument.
Seagull Artist Series Peppino D'Agostino Signature Cutaway Acoustic Guitar Features:
Solid spruce top
Solid rosewood back
Sides - 3-way laminate made from Rosewood-Maple-Rosewood
Mahogany neck
Rosewood fingerboard & bridge
Tusq nut and compensated saddle
High-gloss lacquer finish

I can't remember exactly, I think I paid $1500 Canadian, I wanted the best guitar I could afford and one that would be my main acoustic the rest of my life, after much research I settled on this guitar. A comparable guitar made by the big boys (Martin, Taylor, etc) would be $$$$ much more.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brmG6f2BMywThere have been times on stage where the sound guy just dont know how to put a classical through the PA...
I wished I had a steel with me, but I suffer from big hand syndrome....
I wouldn't bring any other Guitar other than my classical because of the great neck...
It allows you to "fill" when you need to....
And most (Well all) of my style live is picking....
This Seagull will be the best of both worlds!
Thanks Guys!
Now to start Saving! :P
There must be a music store in London that caries these, Go find one in London and play it for the heck of it, you wont be disappointed. Then you will be inspired.

I had an S6 just like Dave's. I made a stupid choice and let it slip away. I could barely play when I had it, and traded it off. I wonder what it would sound like now? I remember loving the neck, nice big neck for some meaty hands.

BB, sort of, a Flock of Seagulls. ;D
i have a 12 string acoustic about 15-20 years old-one of the orignal seagulls-bare bones finish-excellent build quality and tone-my only regret is that it's not electric-i dont think it was offered that way at the time
yep seagulls are great guitars, you certainly get a lot of properly made top class guitar for the money.
a friend of mine has a maritime.great guitar.
also another way of getting a wide neck steel string is, get a 12 string but only put 6 strings on it. i do this with my yamaha 12 string. does the job
all the best
