Title: words by jemima's kite
Post by: Oldrottenhead on August 29, 2010, 06:26:19 PM
sir harry flashman  sent me this tonight i don't know why because i cant recall anything about it,i have a vague memory of doing something like this a long long time ago, maybe tim can remember.

since his knighthood sir harry has been very lax in his duties. but he bought a new bass last week and has suddenly reappeared out of the woodwork with this.

if anyone has  any information about this song please add it to this thread.

the only information ii have about this song is that it's absolutely top shelf.

Sir Harry's bass is inspiring to this wanna be bassist.

love the impromptu ending!!

I don't really remember doing this either - it feels like a while ago now. I think this was one for the LAST album that never got finished and just kind of fell through a crack in the floorboards. It's a grower though. Brilliant work (again), Mike! This will sit very nicely on our current album...

Love the way this song drives along and the interplay between vocal and lead guitar.

Great to hear the bass nice and prominent in this one, it is too good not to be and love the bit at the end.

Amazingly clear and crisp production too.

This sounds a bit different for a Kite song....But, it is sounding good.
I just mean it's a bit of a different style or 'feel' to it....
I can't wait to hear this with some good cans!
Too long a wait for new Kite material....LOL

Great foot tapper here, really cool chords and hooky vocals. Had me feeling good from the off. Nice Kite combo. The breakdown works well, nice touch. Don't know if you're like me, I leave rough endings on teh individual tracks meaning to clean them up with a fade and then somehow they all work quite nicely together so I leave them!

Cheers,

Nigel
