Title: Drummer
Post by: drumbum on August 08, 2010, 06:16:14 PM
Hello and I am back. Ready to do some recording. Hope all is well.

I record from 2 sets, one electronic, and one aucustic. I run the electric DTEXPRESS to a track in a tascam 24 track recorder. The other is fully miced with eight inputs to a mixer with 2 outs to the recorder. Run my music and drums thru headphones. set all levels and play till i get it right. This site will be great fun. Thanks for all the kind words...

see ya    drumbum ::)

Hey drumbum, welcome from Scorching hot Phoenix Arizona!

My 12 year old son is getting into playing a DTExpress electronic kit, and really loves it.   I mess with it from time to time and may do a jam-style recording.

I'd love for you to add "real drums" to any of my original tracks or covers ~ sign me up :~)

I bought the DTX from a good friend of mine. She actually bought it new to get me to go to her house!! So I bought it for 700 when we split.I then  set it up with two crashes, and 4 toms, in other words i expanded the kit. So tell your son to keep it up. Ill record on some of your stuff with it if that cool. so Thanks for the open invitation on your music. I'll work it when i can but when i get my teeth into something look out!

...and thanks for the kindness.....be well

Hook me up with anything less percussion and drums...

Am I suffering from Deja Vue? I could have sworn I said welcome aboard once before.

In any case, it's good to have a drummer in the mix, welcome aboard.
