So... I picked this up today. Pretty good deal. It turned out to be an ESP LTD MH-400 rather than an MH-401 like the ad said. But it was still too good a deal and the 400s were made in Korea as opposed to the 401s which are currently made in Indonesia.
- ESP Ltd MH-400
- Mahogany body, quilted maple top
- Maple neck
- Set Thru neck with rosewood fretboard
- Extra jumbo frets, 25.5" scale
- Floyd rose 1000 series bridge
- Grover locking tuners
- Emg (81) bridge (85) neck pickups
- Road Runner hard case
- See-thru blue

That's a great looking guitar. Blue quilt top looks stunning.

I like- a lot.....how much did you get it for if you don't mind me asking?
Ps any reason why you didn't go for the deluxe version?

Picked it up for $380 including the hard case. The guy was saving for a PRS Custom 24 and he rarely played the ESP, and from the looks of it, he is right. The thing looks brand new.
I am not a big fan of the Abalone inlays and binding. And this was a good deal and I couldn't pass it up. Especially since the guitar is pretty much the same as the deluxe minus the abalone and the official Floyd Rose. But I've never had much problems messing with any trem, so it wasn't as big a selling point for me. ;)
Nice bargain!!I might just get the deluxe because it's "reassuringly expensive."

LOL That's kinda why I might (big might) pick up an ESP HORIZON FR-II. $1800 worth of reassured goodness! heh
I am torn though. If I can find the one I want, I might get a PRS CE24 in black sunburst. One of the few $2000 guitars that I played and thought that it was totally worth that much. ;D
We'll see how it goes. I've yet to tell my wife of my plans yet. heh
haha those guitars are both so, so sweet....I wish I lived near a half decent guitar shop which actualy stocked esp and prs :(
oo dats pretty!!!!
looks like its got a fast neck

Get the PRS. The CE24 is a very sweet axe. PRS totally re-thought the guitar and most definitely improved on what was available. Everything about a PRS is innovative and well thought out.
