I love the old-timey-ness of this.  You can do "authentic" better than anybody Alex.  I really like the bass, I like it up front like that.

found this gem after digging around in the gold mines....I forgot this song even existed...I can see myself in the back seat of an old 60 something car with the little radio playing this....those vinyl seats, no seat belts... just a wee lad...
really well played and sang sir

Very beautiful picture in which I recognize myself ... Thank you Stephen for this magnificent bump ... It would be necessary to make a petition so that Ales leaves a little his brush and comes back to us with some beautiful songs

that is precisely why I am going to bump some of his stuff....not only do I want to hear it... hoping he records some more...

Thanks for the bump Stephen, I really must get back recording, when my arthritis was so bad i took up painting and it has kind of taken over.
Thanks again... Alex

We'd all love to hear a new one from you Alex. You sing and play so well...but...ya can't force it. At least i can't. If painting is calling you, follow it until it doesn't. Staying creative is the really important thing. I often walk into my studio and leave with nothing but guilt. So much gear just collecting dust. Guilt sucks. My solution?..avoid the studio!  ;D

I didn't know the cause of your interruption Alex, I understand better

I love painting (watercolour is my thing) but as I'm exclusive, I can't do music and painting at the same time. It's been more than 10 years since I've touched up my brushes!...I look at them with a bit of guilt...I don't know how to do it!
I always read specialised watercolour magazines ... and I always tell myself that I should start again...

It would take several lives...
