Hi Chaps just a note to you all about myself and gear , i am 51 years old and have played guitar since i was about 16 or so , i played in a couple of duos and trios in the early 80,s when the live scene in liverpool was vibrant and you could easily play 6 or 7 times a week and make some cash as well ,, i was using a 70,s Strat and a Marshall valve but i forget the model but it was awsome !! I play in a band today called Xplorer and we play stuff from the Beatles right through to Whitesnake and mostly play in pubs which we know and trust!!! I got intrested in recording about ten years ago when i bought a Boss BR8 ( which i still use now) i got a micro last year and was knocked out by its functions and guitar patchs !!! The forum to me is Awsome and it gives me an outlet for my songs and gives me a chance to listen to other muso,s to see what everyone else is doing in the world , and i have to say i am blown away by the talent on this site !! it amazes me and inspires me !!
I currently use live a Les Paul Standard through a Boss GT6 and then the Amp is a Marshall valvestate ,, i have a spare guitar which is incase i break a string while playing ,,
I have promised myself to do a vocal over my stuff but this is well out of my comfort zone , but i will have a crack sometime over the next couple of months so be ware !!!
Cheers and thanks for letting me join your,e superb site !!

Go for it! Lay down some vocal tracks - This site has been the singing debut for many members here. Why not you? Just hide them in the mix to build your confidence - That's how it all starts!

Welcome! In Liverpool, you've got a lot of musical heritage to draw on. And I don't just mean The Beatles. Echo and the Bunnymen are one of my all-time favourite bands. Hope you have fun here. Every single one of us has improved in some way because of this site.
I will have to get out of my comfort zone and blow me pipes out !!
