... and I didn't want to hijack an important discussion so thought I would start a new one.

I have done a lot of home brewing over the years and even quit my job for a year to run a pub (where I also booked the bands and played a few gigs).

So this is the beer thread about all things beer.

this is where I often sit and drink beer on a weekend ... looking over bondi beach, Sydney, Australia ...

 I thought it would be "funny" to post a photo of a diseased liver here. I did an image search on "beer liver disease" for my response. Instead I found this:


Normally I leave the boobs to others, but boobs thwarted my smart-ass response, and I admit defeat.

I'm not sure the boobs in the previous two pictures would look any better with beer.  Perhaps we should all get sauced and look at boobs...you know, as a sociological experiment. We could carry clipboards or something for notes.

I tried that once, but the couldn't hold the pitch long enough to play a single part.

I did some homework last night.  I went to the pub and had eleventeen of these:


In fact, I was sitting  in that very spot at that bar.

Then I went home, plugged my tele in to my Peavy. I was good. Very good.  It was like I was channeling Stevie Vai and Eddie Van Halen at the same time.

I am sure that if you asked my neighbours, they would agree.

Ahhh, you need to understand something.  A similar thing happened to my brother and a mate when we had some flooding near their property.  The authorities said they couldn't drive out of town because of the flooding.  They told their respective wives they were "forced" to stay in the pub for 17 hours otherwise they would have been in lots and lots of deep water.   Ha, I used a pun.
