Title: Input volume
Post by: andbolguit on December 13, 2009, 09:00:54 AM
I'm recording a bass track with my J-Bass and after I listen to the song;at the beginning I hear a loud hissing noise, should I lower my volume on my bass? or should I lower the gain settings, or the input settings, it can be a little confusing, I also have the same problem with my vocals, I think I have to much gain.

AGT - It's a question of trial and error. If you've got a loud hissing sound then there is something too loud. Turn down the 864 input, turn down the guitar volume, check your guitar lead for faults.
