for the guitar tones i used a looper , a poxX3live and a GR-20 Guitar synth.
i had to cut the file down to fit it here.

Takes me back, my band at school used to play this in 1974 (no heavy sounds though...). Great fun here, love all those different references and heavy guitar. Some wild guitar work in there!

One of the best song ever made in my homecountry.
This is a really great version, play it in the car and the tickets for speed limit
will be generated automatically.
(Is it ok when I send them to you, cause it is due your cover then ;-)
The sax is that a bit of pink panther....
Dammit this is really a great version, still listening when
typing this post.
You really create a magical 70's sound..
dammit now I am overwhelmed with a great short solo part.
I think Barry and his friends are proud of this cover.

Excellent! I remember buying a bass guitar magazine with an interview of Steve Harris. He referred to Golden Earring as one of his influences. I tried to listen to GE, but couldn't find anything (yep, this was late 80's early 90's). Finally I discovered a thing called GEMA records, probably the grandfather of amazon, where I ordered my Dogs D'Amour albums, and, for 1€ (?) a tape with the very best of Golden Earring. I didn't listen much, because at the time there wasn't much patience for tapes anymore, but Radar Love was one of the songs I remembered. Thanks for covering and reminding me to find that old tape!
Cheers,
Miguel
This was a song that a band in North London used to cover a lot in the 90's. You did a great job of it. I had a big grin when the guitar and vocals started as I love this song its a classic. Great use of synth sounds too.
howly cowly....this is a crazy cover.... really good and different....another lost one!
