I've been away about 3 weeks, but it feels like months. I lost myself in my music - not all of it good or listenable I'm afraid. But I finished a 14-track album last night, and it made me feel better about myself and my state of mind. This is one of them. All done on the BR (about 7 tracks I think). It's me on acoustic guitar, telecaster, vocals and synth strings, and Flash Harry with a magnificent bit of bass (could be your best yet, Mike!).
I'll catch up on as much listening as possible, but please be patient. Damn this place moves fast!
man i think i'm gonna cry, i'm getting goosebumps listening to this, but that might be the scurvy but now i'm getting my greens again it should clear the scurvy.
back with a fucking big bang, excuse my french.
you just made my day tim.
WOW Tim this is brilliant !!! You sure haven't lost your mojo !!!! Love this one!!
Holy Moly..........
Awesome Tim!!!!!!!!!
You found your mojo big style!!!!!!!!!!
I was luck enough to hear this a while ago, it grabbed me at the outset. I think that its a classic bit of Green. It's lovely Tim, a real winner.
Really good stuff Greeny. The synth is subtle, good quality and is great padding.
Yes you are back with an even bigger bang. LOL I agree you still have your mojo. sometimes sad things make for better music. Very soulful!
Well Done Tim! top draw stuff!
A classic Greeny song here. Happy strummy sing-a-long feel but with uneasy tense lyrics. Really nice guitar solo near the end. Its a grower. Its a IPoder for sure.
3 weeks? it seems like an eternity Tim. This is an incredible performance, I love it. When is the album commercially available?
Excellent song! Another one to my Greeny library! Good to have you back!!!
Luv this beat and chord progressions - !!! - cool how you sang this one Tim !!! A hint of some blues - ahhhh a different place - dreams - then reality wakes me up - man those strings really add a serious vibe & and that guitar solo rocks Tim (just had to flip my ear plug headphones around ;) - Great job & welcome back !!!
Yes! Right on with this one! The vocals are nestled in there perfectly. Whatever you did there was perfect. The subtle solo was very cool. I liked the whole song and it was produced beautifully - The vox were freakin' pro and my favorite, though!!
Great to hear a little something from you. Hope things are getting a little better...
Mark
Bump.....
Greeny Im not saying im glad you are going through tough times, cause Im not-but Im glad this came from it.
This is real, man.
Greeny-
very nice work... mellow gold here. enjoyed this one very much.
What can i say? Tim you have the strongest musical personality here, and sometimes it's not that good but in your case it's amazing!!!
When can we have the entire album???
True ...You Can allways tell a greeny tune from the first 2 seconds when it pops up on the shuffle of the Piepod....
naw ye canny
ok awright ye kin
Wonderful.
The keyboard is lurktastic and gives it a psychedelic edge. Is that a mellotron sound?
The Bass Caucus of the forum wants Flash louder than everything else.
Kind of reminds me of a song by The Comas. Ever heard of them?

it's the same ole sun.......just want to see it rise in a different place....
Great stufF!!!
This is radio worthy for sure. brilliant song Tim!! I love the wavy guitar effects, as well as the clean acoustic effects, they really compliment each other. The lyrics, your vocals shit man... it's all good! I'd have to say this is one of my favorites by you.
The song is officially stuck in my head, I'll be singing it all day.
thanks for sharing,
erik
Great to hear great songwriting back on the forum, just a great song.
Just starting to catch up on all the Greeny postings I have missed, this is another belter. I particularly like the strings on this one, very clever arrangement that add to the melancholoy feel. Production is fantastic as well, glad to see your mojo is still with you in these trying times.
Cheers,
Nigel
