this is part of saijnn maas' song challenge and was originally posted here https://songcrafters.org/community/post-your-mp3-collaborations-only/the-song-challenge/0/ but you know my feelings about the collaboration board and all the lost songs in there. so before it got buried and forgotten forever i though i would post it here too.
this is another stream of thought and heartfelt and emotional lyric inspired by someone i think a lot of, this came very quickly and was done in one take, very easy to do when you have music like this, i tried to do a roy orbison kind of thing and failed miserably lol but i think it has a bit of heart. i also think there is lots of room for some backing vox, would be nice if greeny or hooper or geir gave that a try, hope you like it greg.
anyway i think it should be called "faith in you". its a song about empathy, not i know how you feel but i can relate to that and feel for you if you know what i mean, if you don't google "definition of empathy" lol.
here's the lyrics.
take a little time just to reflect
and try to see things how they really are
you need to find a way to reconnect
you have the will you have the heart
don't let it get you down
you gotta keep moving on
we all have faith in you
don't let it get you down
you gotta keep moving on
we all have faith in you
sometimes it isn't easy that i know
right now you're somewhere i've already been
i'm not saying i know just how you feel
i don't know that i'm not that green
don't let it get you down
you gotta keep moving on
we all have faith in you
etc
