Greetings, Boss BR users. I'm Tony (wrax) from near Bristol and I'm just dabbling in the world of home recording. I've bought a Micro BR which for the price has some lovely features. My main problem is despite the number of times I have read (and re-read) the manual, I cannot work out how on earth I can capture all four tracks, convert them to a song and then copy it across to my PC. I am being thick, I'm sure but there must be a way. Any advice gratefully received.
Right, scrap that request. If I'd spent a few minutes browsing the forum before asking my question I would have found the wonderfully helpful video explaining exactly what to do! What a great forum. Thanks.
Welcome, wrax, from a fellow noob...
You will find much to learn and appreciate here...I know that I have in just the short few days since I registered. And such a talented lot on board! :)

Hello wrax! Welcome to the most addicting website of the modern day.
Hi Tony !! Welcome from Norway!!
We've all started where you are, and you've found the right place to make the start easier!!
It's an amazing piece of equipment you've got hold of, and as soon as you've covered the basics, be sure to post one of your recordings.

If you never knew what 3am looked like before, thinking about what to do with your tune(not playing, because that would wake everyone up), You will Soon.....
Tony;
Hello from the flatlands of Norfolk
Enjoy your stay.
Hey Tony - glad to have you aboard. The best way to learn is just plug your guitar in and hit the record button :D I know it's not quite as simple, but frequent use will help a lot.
You should definitely go to the tutorials section and watch the three basic vids, and then the mastering vid. This will get you to a mastered mp3 file. The MBR should show up as a drive letter when plugged into your pc via usb - there is an mp3 folder where you can get your track.
Looking forward to hearing something.
Welcome!!
Mark
Greetings from Nome Alaska! Not a microbr user - br900... But it seems that most of what I download from this site is microbr stuff - mbr seems to be taking over the world... Good to have you on-board this mothership! Jump into the recording mode and crank the volume! There may be time for catching up some sleep in the weekend...maybe.... Taking 5 kids fishing in 1/2 hr - salmon are running up river & Dolly Varden are biting. Looking forward to untangling fishing lines - teaching them how to use open face reels.....
