it has been my honor and pleasure to do this collab, I used Waves for effects and mastered using Izotope so if it is screwed up it is my fault

Wow, superlatives are falling short.
I'll stick to mesmerising.
Let them Come these collabs.
Exquisite mix, master and performances! Bravo to all involved in this cool collab. Kudos go out to Tim for orchestrating this musical get together 8)
it's magnificent...I wish I'd been in the band! ;)
Superb! That's one solid collab. Everyone is playing to their strenghts.
I was not expecting this! This started playing in the Latest Songs jukebox - without the benefit of reading the post. What the heck!? That sounds like Pru! Pru times 3!
Pru: You have advanced from "Reminds me of Suzanne Vega" and leveled up to "Reminds me of Nancy Sinatra." And if you are as uncomfortable as I am with reminds-me-of-ism, that might not seem any better – but it is. I love this stuff.
A totally neglected genre. I don't even know if it has a name. Not "Psychedelic Folk," but what? I'm experiencing the rediscovery of a lost art.
Tim: I can only imagine you working on this like a secret collaboration. All of your collaborators threatened into silence, and you with a big grin on your face, thinking, This is going to blow minds when I upload it! Mission accomplished.
Who wrote the lyrics?
These lyrics are devastating—like someone slipping out the door at dawn with their bags already packed. But there's a shift in power. This is not a bitter "You'll be sorry when I'm gone" as in "You'll miss me, but I'm not coming back." There's retribution coming. You won't see it coming, but it's coming. She walks away with something sharp in her pocket. "This shiv is made for stabbin' / And that's what it will do / One of these days this shiv is gonna..."
I was originally going to do duet with this chop some vocal and try to do harmony to Pru but once I got the vocal that went out the window
Everybody just had a crappy scratch vocal and acoustic track from me to work with
I appreciate anybody Willing to do a collab with me and one of the reasons I love this site
Tim
i enjoyed reading all the comments on this... and I almost bailed out a few times as I felt like perhaps I would not make this better or worse yet , drag it down. In the end I really liked the bass with Rays leads...
of course the vocal is spectacular... and I really liked the mix that Tim sent me which did have Pru's vocals on it. I would not have been able to play drums to this without those... and for sure this is not in my "wheelhouse" of drums... but I do think I learned something as well...
also I made it clear to Tim that if he decided not to use them it would be totally ok with me...
colabs are certainly special and as they say ""the whole is greater than the sum of its parts""
can and does hold true in colabs....
I like the mix as well...
enjoyed working on this beautiful song which i had never heard before so had to learn it on the fly. thanks to Tim for considering me for the collaboration.
Nicely mixed, Tim and I also enjoyed working on this song.
