VERSE 1
Timmy had a wicked grin
On April first, he snuck right in
To Grandma's room, he thought unseen
And swapped her pills for jellybeans
He giggled hard, he thought it fun
A prank! The very greatest one
But little did young Timmy know
Grandmas can have fun also
CHORUS 1
Heart pop, Grandma dropped
Sometimes older hearts just stop
Jellybeans fall all around
Grandma didn't make a sound
VERSE 2
She clutched her chest, fell to the floor
Her eyelids closed, she moved no more
Timmy screamed and starts to cry
"Grandma please, oh please don't die!"
Then up she sprang with wicked cheer:
"April Fool's, my little dear!"
But since that day, he's always scared
He laughs no more, just blinks and stares
CHORUS 2
Heart pop, Grandma dropped
Timmy's little heart just stopped
Pranks may seem like fun and games
But sometimes life won't be the same
VERSE 3
He cried for days, he wouldn't eat
He screamed each time he saw a sweet
He lies awake heart full of dread
And Grandma's grin stuck in his head
He doesn't prank, he doesn't jest
He keeps his fears tight in his chest
He laughs at jokes, but not quite right
Too loud, too long, and late at night
CHORUS 1 & 2
