This is my first song post here at Songcrafters, so I figured I should do something pretty typical for me: a song about eating. (I usually write about *competitive* eating, but this is more of a love song to an eater.) I also write about Bigfoot and beards.
I'm looking forward to being an active member here!
Yes, loving the punk attitude and absolutely loving the way she eats.
Cool attitude, great stuff!!
Haha, I love this. I like songs that are tongue in cheek and not serious sometimes. Great and funny lyrics, really nice backing music. This is like something Electric six would write. Welcome.
Well, you got me smiling (again.) I like the metaphors and the hunger for life line is perfect. Welcome to SC!
damn.
the greatest compliment I ever got about a song I wrote when i played it at open mic was from a man named "papa greybeard" that gigged regularly around the 4 county area here. He said he wanted to cover my song.
that is how I feel about this one.
But you won't know it because I am going to learn this and play it for those 100 or so souls that show up every tuesday morning at the senior center in the next town over for the open jam...
yeah man... this will send people into all sorts of directions.
some will get permission to head over directly after to the Golden Coral and pony up to that buffet while this tune plays in their heads... they will be there 3 hours eating themselves into a 12 step recovery program... man this song is good.
the voice here sounds familiar but I can't really replace it.
also kudos for all those words delivered in such a short space. I certainly can relate to that.
and this reminds me of preachers who have too much material for a 30 minute sermon and they don't care because they gon deliver it anyway...
in short... i love it... but... warning... others brains may be spinning...
I have this on repeat. so much fun and the music is great too.
Awesome song! A great Zappa-equse song with very funny lyrics and a nice 60s pop rock backing instrumental to this. Such great fun!
Superb song....welcome aboard....right up my alley.....I love this...great recording and the lyrics are fine, fine, fine.........fine
I like the humor in this song. It's very upbeat and peppy. It's recorded and mixed well. The rapid fire vocal delivery is perfect!
I also like the humour and tongue in cheek approach in the lyrics. Nicely produced song too; welcome aboard.

Now
that's niche.
This is a song of unapologetic joy. It's not just about eating; it's about devouring cultural hang-ups. As an American who's lived in Madagascar and Cameroon, I've always admired how some Cameroonian women carry themselves—zero fucks given about body shame – the kind of radiant confidence you describe in your song. (Contrast with the culturally-internalized body shame that hangs over so many American women.)
Looking forward to more of your music.

I love a good humourous song and this is certainly one - great lyrics. Reminds me of a rather large girl who I used to work with. She was always one of the first in the office canteen at lunchtime and would already be sat at a table be having a main meal with a dessert lined up ready and a chocolate bar to finish off. Always fascinating to watch while waiting in the queue how she could daintily demolish a mountain of food.

I don't want to point any fingers, or pull on a one for that matter... But am i crazy and/or is this a bit weird? :)
Great stuff!
What you got is called a fetish.
Very entertaining. ;)
