Song that grew out of a single note. I picked up my guitar, played a note which seemed odd. It was three frets up from the capo which was on the third fret, so Dflat. And from that developed the opening riff and the rest of the structure followed.
It's built around four Jazzmaster tracks, two relatively clean, two grungy as hell. And then a ton of GarageBand drums bass and stuff.
I like a cacophony, me.
Man! I love the sound of this, a perfect blend of spacey Britpop and a bit of Americana. Wicked chords, that intro part immediately grabs you. I love your freewheelin' lead here as well and the vocal/lyric is perfect for this. Sorta like Radiohead meets Blur! Awesome song
Huge rocker! Dig the interesting composition as well as the fine performing. I'm rockin' out on this one! 8)
yeah man... that guitar intro is bril! then the vocals come in and transport me to planet ODH!
I am forever changed!
love that bass in there too and the drums really fit this perfect.
the effecting on the various vocals and guitars make this a really deep and fun track...
heavy as all heck too.
yeah man... you done the UK proud with this one.
It would so amazing how a little capo can open chording and not love the grungy back ground guitar

That quote reminded me of

There's kind of grunge-glam thing going here – which isn't a species that is spotted often in the wild.
The guitar solo is fantastic! I love this song.

yeah man i agree Ted this song is majorly cool...
bad ass to the max.
Brilliant song that came out of a single picked note, great inspiration from you. Yeah I'm getting a Radiohead kind of vibe. I love those guitars, awesome lead and the beat is just right. Love the vocals aswell. Awesome production.
creativity at its best! just from one bloody note! i agree with darren ... a bit of a radiohead vibe. fabulous track!
cool guitars and catchy track like the grungy rock live feel to the track with the guitars and backing
I've been meaning to come back to this. It's a really excellent song, Nick!
I'm just one minute into the song and I'm hooked, Nick! A great off the wall opening guitar riff. For some reason I'm picking up a bit of Alice Cooper's style of vocal delivery. Excellent outro soloing man!
Listening to this in my car today.
It is a powerfull song .
I love the melody of the vocal.
A great production as well.
Nice lead,in the middle ,again following that vocal melody line.
Very radio friendly.
Almost like the cure.
That lead right at the end is superb
Brilliant Nick.
You did very nicely with developing a song from one note.
