Title: Was lost for 4 days
Post by: Farrell Jackson on March 08, 2025, 08:14:51 PM
You know when I was locked out of Songcrafters for 4 days I was wandering around the neighborhood like a lost kid, lol. It's amazing how many strong connections we make with people and their music that we haven't even met. Songcrafters is the first thing I check in the morning to see what new stuff is posted up. I missed that but it's great to find my way back. I want to thank Ray Brookes and 64Guitars for handing me the keys again. Cheers to all my creative friends!!!!!!!!!

I totally know what you mean Farrell.  Like many of us, I go through phases of posting but I always come back, and I hope to continue to do so.

Be honest, Farrell. Did your mind race, wondering what you'd done to get yourself permanently banned without warning?

Maybe for a few minutes I did wonder what I might have done wrong but then common sense kicked in. I knew there wasn't anything I did to get banned and that it must be an error. Then I was contacted by two other SC members asking if I knew what was going on because they were banned. Then I knew for sure it was a mistake. At that point it was just a matter of contacting SC Administration, waiting for a reply email, and following the directions to get back in.

I've been through the same thing over the past week, was being told I was banned and with the extra message that the ban was not set to expire.

I began looking for other ways to get my music out (I posted a song to alonetone at one point). I pondered if this was a sign that I should hang up my guitars and engage with the real world.

Then after a couple of days it occurred to me to try Chrome and that worked. So now SC is on Chrome not Safari for me. The real world can wait.
