Rock Me Amadeus was a hit for the Austrian artist Falco in 1985. Kenny asked me to do the verses in German - the music and all the other vocals are by Kenny and sound awesome !
damn this sounds great... wow.
love the synth and guitars too... not to mention the insane vocals...
you guys should do a video... gotta go viral!
wow.
Zehr gut (is that how you pronounce it?)
Inspired choice of song, and it works. I like your version better than the original.
Wow, even with the staccato use of the voice. Nice collab guys.
This is great Kenny and Pete! One of the best covers that I've heard lately!
Eine himmlische Verbindung. Nächste 99 Luftballons!
wow! what a super-duper track! rocks along like a runaway train. i do not understand German so i have no idea what you are singing about but it sounds great!
Excellent cover! Very faithful to the original and your German sounds great. Massive sounding chorus!
Jeez, what a mammoth production of this remarkable cover. Fantastic work, guys.
Thanks everyone.
I had wanted to do this cover for along time and the Stumbling block was it was originally sung in German.
During a chat pete had mentioned he spoke some German and that pricked up my ears lol.
He did a fantastic job.
I had originally thought of using the keyboards but it's all guitar except for the brass section and that's the Roland stratocaster with the GR.
I think using guitars was the right choice, it's a good song to show how the structure plays out in a different genre.
Thanks again all.
Wow what a massive cover and cover bravo to both of you
Tim
Thought I had commented a few days ago but I don't see my post.
This is brilliant guys. I didn't know who this was at first and was trying to guess but couldn't. Pure class vocals Pete and then Kenny adds some real power in there too. Excellent.

Off the chart!
What a fun and off-the-wall cover. And it's huge!
I remember when this song came out, it was clearly cashing in on the popularity of the film. And sometimes that comes out pretty stupid. But I kinda liked this at the the time. Thank for the blast from the past, with the Pete & Kenny treatment.
I'm a big Falco fan (musically; I understand personally he was quite the jerk), and am one of the probably relatively few Americans who owns all of his albums. So please take it as an "informed" compliment when I say how much I enjoyed this track. There's a compelling rock muscularity to the music, and the languid insouciance of the verse vocals as compared with the sharpness of the chorus vocals works very nicely indeed!
