MANY Congratulations :)

I'm (very) ready to do the same, but there's a few years to go yet.
Mrs R's gone down to a 3 day week... so I've got to keep slaving ;D

We achieved one of our pre-retirement goals this month, though. We paid off the mortgage several years early. So maybe there's hope for me finishing early (before the arthritis and wotnot really kicks in  ;D ;D ;D ;D ).

Well, congratulations on reaching retirement, a thoroughly recommended era of the life-cycle. May it be long, healthy and fruitful. Good luck.  8)  8)

Congratulations! It's a whole new season of life and I highly recommend it, tho for some people it can take a little getting used to. I think musicians may be especially well prepared to adapt to the changes, and new opportunities. I hope you will enjoy a lot!

I retired from British Telecom at the age of 50, I then worked another 15 years as a theatre clerk in private hospitals. I then fully retired and have never been so busy.
Enjoy every minute of your retirement it sounds as if you worked extremely hard for it.  Willie

Congratulations, hope you enjoy your retirement.
I've got another 3 years left so hopefully I'll get there.
Music will keep you occupied.

Many congratulations, Tim.

45 years is a long time to be in any job - especially the armed forces.

Enjoy.  I know I do!

I'm very envious that you have time for music now. I'm nearing my retirement age, but it's the farthest thing from reality for me. Make music for the both of us, okay?

Congrats, Tim! Wow, 45 years is a great achievment! I've been retired since 1st of December after 41 year career at same powerplant.

Enjoy!

Yeah, congratulations! Now your live as a full time rock'n'roll musician begins...

Just remember that it isn't the 70's anymore. That sh*t don't fly and you'll soon get cancelled if you're into anything of that fun stuff. So better just keep it musical and have a cheese spray handy.

The kids of today have no prospects of having fun :/
